Over the past two months our club has been quietly making an impact in our community. Since the beginning of May we have honored our final Student of the Month, cleaned up Meridian Township’s Orlando Park, kicked off our Flags Over Meridian program with two installations for Memorial Day and then again for Flag Day.
We hosted speakers from Harris Nature Center, Meridian Sun Golf Course, Meridian Cares, and the Okemos Public School #SockOutSuicide and have contributed over $18,000 to their various projects including:
- $6,000 to the Harris Nature Center’s Hawk Nest Play Area,
- $8,000 to the Haslett Robotics Club.
- $2,500 to Meridian Cares for Back to School Supplies
- $1,400 to Haslett Public Schools Media Centers for books in honor of all our incredible speakers.
- $500 to the Lake Lansing Summer Concert Series Sponsorship.
- $400 to the Meridian Sun Junior Golf League Scholarships
