Haslett-Okemos Kiwanis packs backpacks full of school essentials in partnership with Meridian Cares. The backpacks are assembled with the teacher’s recommended school supplies by the H-O-K members, and are distributed to families who qualify for free lunches and will be distributed prior to school starting. It’s a great way to get kids off on the right foot for a successful school year.
